Mark your calendars! This year's Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2008 at Ocotillo Golf Resort. We are looking forward to a wonderful tournament with great golf, gift bags, raffle prizes, and a fun awards dinner/ceremony after the tournament with live music provided by the Off the Record Band. All proceeds from the non-profit event go toward the Krystal Ebel Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to Dobson High School seniors. We are looking for golfers, hole sponsors, volunteers, and raffle prize donations so please contact Denny (480.586.1924) if you are interested in joining us this year. Included in the price of golf is admission to the awards dinner as well as a gift bag filled with high-quality goodies (including an embroidered tournament polo shirt and a $20 gift card to the PGA Tour Superstore). Deadline for player signup is September 1st.
A special thanks to Benson Systems, which is again sponsoring the overall tournament. We are also grateful to Arizona Greens who have donated a fantastic putting green to the raffle, and to Berge Volkswagen/Mazda who are giving away a chance at a VW Beetle! We appreciate all the folks who have sponsored a hole, donated time or raffle prizes, golfed with us, and supported our efforts to keep Krystal's memory alive through the scholarship fund and tournament. Thanks to your generosity, we have given away $11,000 in scholarships so far. A big thank you to all of you, and we hope that you will again participate with us this year!
