A Successful Tournament!

Thanks everyone for making the Third Annual Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament a huge success. Everyone had a wonderful time golfing and raising money for a great cause. Together we raised over $12,000 for the scholarship fund! All the funds raised will go directly toward high school scholarships given in memory of Krystal.

Raffle Tickets Available Now!

The Third Annual Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament and Raffle will be held on September 7th, 2008. Some fantastic raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses, and it will be a fun event. Raffle tickets are available now -- $10 for 5 tickets, $30 for 20 tickets. Contact Denny at 480.586.1924 to purchase tickets if you will not be attending the tournament but would still like to enter the drawing. You need not be present to win, but please include your first and last name on the back of the ticket as well as a contact telephone number.

9/7/2008: 3rd Annual Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament

Mark your calendars! This year's Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2008 at Ocotillo Golf Resort. We are looking forward to a wonderful tournament with great golf, gift bags, raffle prizes, and a fun awards dinner/ceremony after the tournament with live music provided by the Off the Record Band. All proceeds from the non-profit event go toward the Krystal Ebel Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards college scholarships to Dobson High School seniors. We are looking for golfers, hole sponsors, volunteers, and raffle prize donations so please contact Denny (480.586.1924) if you are interested in joining us this year. Included in the price of golf is admission to the awards dinner as well as a gift bag filled with high-quality goodies (including an embroidered tournament polo shirt and a $20 gift card to the PGA Tour Superstore). Deadline for player signup is September 1st.

A special thanks to Benson Systems, which is again sponsoring the overall tournament. We are also grateful to Arizona Greens who have donated a fantastic putting green to the raffle, and to Berge Volkswagen/Mazda who are giving away a chance at a VW Beetle! We appreciate all the folks who have sponsored a hole, donated time or raffle prizes, golfed with us, and supported our efforts to keep Krystal's memory alive through the scholarship fund and tournament. Thanks to your generosity, we have given away $11,000 in scholarships so far. A big thank you to all of you, and we hope that you will again participate with us this year!

The scholarships were announced at an awards ceremony held at Dobson High School. Each of these deserving students will receive a $1000.00 scholarship to attend an in-state university. Congratulations!

2nd Tournament a Huge Success!

An enthusiastic thank you goes to all the golfers, volunteers, hole sponsors, and prize donors who helped to make the 2nd Annual Krystal Ebel Memorial Golf Tournament a fantastic success. Everyone had fun at the tournament and we were lucky to only have a few drops of rain despite gray skies and chilly weather. Most importantly, together we raised more than $10,000 for the Krystal Ebel Memorial Scholarship Fund! The money raised will go towards scholarships for Dobson High School seniors who will attend an in-state university -- a great cause!
